Class Supply List

Kindergarten
Student’s individual supplies: (please label with student's name)
- 1 mat for rest time (with small blanket or towel from home. Small pillows are ok.)
- 3 composition notebooks (BLACK AND WHITE)
Shared supplies:
- 1 bottle of white school glue
- 1 pack of glue sticks
- 2 boxes of tissues
- 1 bottle not antibacterial liquid hand soap (or refill preferred)
- 1 box each of quart and gallon Ziploc bags
- 1 ream of computer paper
- 1 pack of wooden pencils
- 1 pack of colored markers
- 1 pack of LOW ODOR EXPO whiteboard markers
Multi-age First/Second Grade
- 1 package of glue sticks – any size
- 8 pocket folders – (2 blue, 2 red, 2 yellow, 2 green)
- 1 composition book
- 3 spiral notebooks 70 page wide ruled (plain colors)
- 1 package of pencils
- 1 pack of sticky notes – any size, any color
- 1 1”binder
- 1 box of crayons
- 1 container of liquid soap
- 1 container of disinfectant wipes
- 1 box of tissues
- 1 package of ziplock bags – any size
- 1 package of cups (any size)
- 1 pack expo markers – low odor
- 1 package markers – boys bring fine line markers, girls bring regular markers
- optional:
- card stock
- tissues
- paint – watercolors or tempera
- any art supplies (clay, colored pencils, foam shapes, buttons, trim, construction paper)
- stamp pads
Third Grade
Shared supplies:
- Pack of #2 pencils
- Colored pencils
- 1 package regular thick colored markers
- 1 container of disinfectant wipes
- 1 box of tissues
- 1 package of ziploc bags – gallon size
- 1 pack of expo markers – low odor
- 1 pack of post-it notes – square size
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 1 package of glue sticks
- scissors
- wide-ruled notebook paper for binder (2 packs)
Student’s own supplies:
- 2 thick composition books
- 1 thin red composition booklet for Grade 3 (sold at Staples)
- 1 1” binder
- 5 pocket folders (1 blue, 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 orange)
- 3 spiral bound notebooks - 120 pages
- 1 plastic homework folder
Fourth Grade
All supplies will be shared (except notebooks, composition books and binders), so please do not put your child’s name on the materials! Materials will be kept in common areas so students do not need pencil boxes or extra supplies.
- Glue sticks (at least 4)
- Markers (boys- thin, girls- thick)
- Pack of 24 pencils
- Colored pencils
- 1 plain colored spiral bound notebooks (approx. 100 pages)
- 3 composition books
- 1 sturdy folder for bringing work and notes home
- One 1˝ inch binder
- Dry Erase Markers (at least 2)
- Ziploc baggies (any size)
- Box of tissues
- 1 lb. bag of flour
- disinfectant wipes
Fifth Grade
- A ruler with inches and centimeters
- Five single subject notebooks, spiral bound
- A box of pencils
- A box of colored pencils
- A box of facial tissue
- 2 water bottles
- 1 3 ring binder (1.5 inch) for student led conferences
- 1 yellow, 1 green, and 1 purple pocket folder
- 2 marble composition books
- A package of disinfectant wipes
- A package of loose leaf paper
Sixth Grade
Shared supplies:
- Glue Sticks
- Number 2 pencils
- Colored pencils
- Box of wide tip and thin tip markers
- Box of tissues
- Clorax wipes
- Paper towels
- Wide Rule Loose Leaf Notebook Paper
- 1 box box of Dry Erase Markers
Individual Supplies for all Subjects:

Seventh Grade
Required Supplies (for each student)
- A 2" binder (for daily use)
- A 2"’ binder( for portfolio use)
- Set of 10 dividers
- 2 folders ( with pockets and brads for paper) "Reading Journal" "Homework"
- Loose leaf paper
- 1 composition or spiral notebook- "Friday Journal"
- 3 ring pencil case
- Pencils and pens of your liking (dark ink, please!)
- Handheld pencil sharpeners
- Highlighters
- Water Bottle
- Lunchbox/bag

- Subscriptions for the class: Newsweek, Time, The Charlotte Observer (delivered to 1018 Archie Carroll Rd, Boone, NC 28607)
- Instrumental CD's classical, jazz international music - Burned CDs are appreciated but we would prefer originals with the jackets.
Eighth Grade
Required Supplies (for each student)
- 1 package of graph paper (at least 50 sheets)
- 1 package of loose leaf paper to turn in for community supply
- 1 box of Kleenex (preferably anti-viral)
- 1 tube of antibacterial wipes
- 1 calculator for home use
Classroom Wish list: (optional)

- Safety Goggles (from Lowes) - plastic with rubber straps around the back
